Normally 2 – 3 days depending on the work to be carried out. Much bigger jobs or direct staining can add extra time.

Modern Floor Sanding equipment comes with vacuums and dust bags which capture around 90% of the dust. Some clean up afterwards will be required by the owner.

Water stains, oxidation marks and old carpet knife marks may not sand out in some floors. Consult with our friendly team to discuss colouring and direct staining options

This is NOT recommended as these gaps assist the expansion and contraction of the timber with the change of seasons, particularly for the hot weather that can occur in our Queensland climate.

We offer a Carpet removal service, which is an additional service to the floor sanding process. If you are a little handy you can save yourself some money if you can remove your carpet or vinyl prior to the floor sanding. Our team are more than happy to discuss a quote for you if you would like to do this for you.

We do offer a deck sanding service. Decks are great for entertaining in the summer months, but don’t leave it too late!

We can do this for some floors.  Re-coating should be done every 5 – 8 years, depending on the condition of the floor. Buffing and adding an extra coat is dependent on what preparation was previously carried out on the floor. Chat with our friendly team in detail about your needs.

It is recommended that;

• You enter the property 24 hours after the last coat has been applied wearing socks or stockings on your feet – no shoes or bare feet
• It is also recommended to air out the property for 24 hours after work has been carried out
• 48 hours after the Last Coat has been applied is when it would be likely that you could start moving furniture back into the property
• Heavy objects and rugs should be left off the floor for at least 7 days

Our quote surrounds the floor sanding, re-coat or any additional service that we offer like carpet removal or vinyl removal. It would be an expectation that the owner has removed all furniture from the area to be prepared before the work has commenced.
